Proud to be a Green Circle Salon

Up to 95% of our beauty waste is now being recycled by Green Circle Salons. Resources that were once considered waste materials such as hair, leftover hair color, foils, color tubes and aerosol cans are now being recycled.

An organization is considered to have achieved zero waste to landfill status if it does not send any waste directly to landfill or incineration without energy recovery from any waste-generating operations that it has operational or financial control over.

Green Circle Salons collects hair clippings and extensions in order to keep these items out of the waste stream, and from ultimately ending up at local landfill sites. This locally grown and natural material can be used as a filler in building materials, as an adsorbent fiber to soak up oil, and as a growth enhancement tool in agriculture. ​
